A little away from the ice edge, Spencer met a little penguin, about the same size as him.
This is an Adelie penguin.
He was quite excited to see Spencer as he, too had never seen a bear before.
This little penguin walked with Spencer and his friends for quite some time.
The penguin told Spencer that he was going to visit his friend, a big seal.
So just a few minutes later, Spencer got to meet a real Weddell seal.
The seal was taking a break from diving and hunting fish. He was asleep on the sea ice.
